Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced its latest addition to the fleet, Norwegian Luna, part of the Prima Plus Class, with voyages available for booking now. Set to debut in the Caribbean in April 2026, Luna offers a blend of innovative design and exciting destinations, appealing to families and cruise enthusiasts alike.

Sailing roundtrip from Miami, Norwegian Luna’s inaugural season will take travelers to the sun-soaked beaches of the Caribbean, with stops in Honduras, Mexico, Belize, and the Dominican Republic. The ship’s two distinct itineraries allow guests to explore vibrant cultures, pristine islands, and NCL’s own private retreat, Great Stirrup Cay.

At over 1,000 feet long and accommodating 3,550 passengers, Luna will offer more space and enhanced amenities compared to its Prima Class predecessors. Designed as a sister ship to Norwegian Aqua, which is set to launch in 2025, Luna’s aesthetic is crafted by world-class design firms, creating an atmosphere of elegance and adventure.

One of the ship’s standout features will be its immersive hull art titled La Luna, designed by street artist ELLE. This vibrant mural reflects the connection between humans and the lunar cycle, a perfect thematic match for the ship’s Caribbean voyages.

For those looking for onboard thrills, Luna promises plenty of excitement with the debut of Aqua Slidecoaster, a combination rollercoaster and waterslide, alongside a digital sports complex, and the popular 10-story free-fall slide, The Drop.

Dining options will include familiar NCL favorites such as Cagney’s Steakhouse, Le Bistro, and Sukhothai, along with the diverse offerings of the Indulge Food Hall.

Travelers seeking a more exclusive experience can enjoy The Haven, Norwegian’s premium, ship-within-a-ship retreat, offering luxurious suites, private dining, and a range of upscale amenities. The Haven also features its own infinity pool, outdoor spa, and lounge, providing a relaxing space away from the ship’s larger crowds.

As Norwegian Cruise Line continues to push the boundaries of what family cruising can offer, Norwegian Luna’s debut promises a perfect blend of adventure, luxury, and fun for all ages.
