Adventures by Disney is adding two new destinations to its lineup in 2026 — Greece and Switzerland — each offering a thoughtfully designed, family-friendly experience that blends cultural exploration with Disney’s signature storytelling touch.

The new itineraries build on Adventures by Disney’s reputation for curating travel adventures that feel exclusive, educational, and immersive. These aren’t your standard guided tours. Each trip is hosted by expert Adventure Guides who take care of the planning, logistics, and local insights, so families can focus on enjoying the moment — and yes, there’s a bit of Disney magic sprinkled in along the way.

Switzerland: Alpine Adventures and Disney Roots
If Switzerland sounds like a peaceful retreat, it’s because it has long been just that — even for Walt Disney himself. The eight-day Switzerland itinerary pays tribute to the country’s postcard-perfect landscapes and rich cultural offerings that have inspired Disney classics over the years.

Travelers will get to explore lakeside villages, mountain towns, and some of the same scenery that inspired Disneyland’s Matterhorn Bobsleds. One highlight includes an alpine hike near Zermatt, with the real Matterhorn as your backdrop.

Another stop brings travelers to Château de Chillon, a medieval castle perched on Lake Geneva. With its storybook architecture and lakeside views, it’s easy to see how this site could inspire a fairytale. From there, the tour continues to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, a lesser-known tie-in to Disney history — some of its memorabilia even influenced the creation of Disney Pin Trading.

Of course, no trip to Switzerland would be complete without indulging in the local cuisine. Between the cheese, wine, and chocolate, you’ll want to come hungry.

Greece: Myth, History, and Hands-On Culture
The new Greece itinerary dives deep into the legends of Ancient Greece and the landscapes that helped shape western civilization. This eight-day adventure takes guests from Athens to Peloponnese and Rhodes, tracing the footsteps of gods, warriors, and philosophers — as well as some Disney inspiration, with nods to films like Hercules and Fantasia.

The trip kicks off in Athens with visits to iconic landmarks like the Acropolis and Parthenon, followed by a tour of Mycenae — one of the earliest known Greek civilizations. Families will also snorkel and kayak above an underwater archaeological site in Epidaurus, offering a rare chance to see history from a different perspective.

In Rhodes, guests explore a town steeped in ancient lore, once home to the mighty Colossus of Rhodes. While the statue may no longer stand, the ruins and coastal charm remain. The itinerary also includes interactive experiences like pottery-making and a traditional Greek cooking class, turning history into something tactile and memorable.

Something for Everyone
Both new destinations will offer family-focused and adult-exclusive departures. And as with all Adventures by Disney experiences, guests are accompanied by professional Adventure Guides who manage every detail of the trip — from luggage handling to local storytelling — making it feel more like traveling with a knowledgeable friend than following a script.

For families who want more than just a vacation — who want their children to learn through doing and discover the stories behind the places they visit — these new Greece and Switzerland itineraries add meaningful options to the 2026 travel calendar.
