Get ready to shrink down, go blue, and join the Smurfs on an unforgettable adventure—because The Smurf Experience is finally coming to the U.S.. It’s landing in Arlington, Texas, for a limited summer run.

Kicking off May 7, 2025, this immersive 13,000-square-foot attraction takes over the Esports Stadium Arlington at 1200 Ballpark Way, right in the heart of the city’s entertainment district. With over 2 million fans already experiencing the fun in Europe, the U.S. debut is expected to be just as popular—so if you’re in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, this is one summer event you won’t want to miss.
Designed as a full-scale journey through Smurf Village, the experience includes nine interactive zones where families can take on missions, search for clues, hop through obstacle courses, and dive into virtual reality—all while dodging the villainous Gargamel and helping save the day. Whether your kids are longtime fans or just meeting the Smurfs for the first time, there’s something for every age to enjoy.
Visitors will also get to meet Smurf characters face-to-face and become part of the story in ways that go beyond the screen. The entire experience is hands-on, and packed with photo ops and surprises.
The timing couldn’t be better: The Smurf Experience opens just ahead of the new Smurfs movie, coming to theaters July 2025. The upcoming film features Rihanna as the voice of Smurfette and is already making waves for its music and star-studded production. For fans, the exhibit offers a chance to step into the world before it hits the big screen.
Behind the magic is a collaboration between SBX Group and the Peyo Company, bringing creator Peyo’s original vision to life. “From their origins in Europe in the 1950s to their increasing global popularity, we’re excited to bring the world of the Smurfs to life for families in DFW,” shared SBX Group CEO Danny Fritz. Véronique Culliford, Peyo’s daughter, echoed that excitement, saying, “It’s wonderful to see the Smurfs, their story, and their values come to life in such a meaningful way.”
Conveniently located near AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, and Six Flags Over Texas, The Smurf Experience makes a perfect stop during a day out in Arlington.
But it won’t be around forever—this Smurftastic attraction is only in town through the end of summer 2025. Whether you’re looking to beat the Texas heat, surprise the kids with a day of imaginative play, or dive into some blue-hued nostalgia, this limited-time event is worth adding to your summer bucket list.
