If you’re planning a summer visit to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay with kids in tow, there’s a brand-new experience designed just for families—and it’s opening soon. Wild Oasis at Jungala makes its official debut to all guests on June 6, with Pass Member previews kicking off on May 30. Inspired by lush rainforests, this immersive new area blends animal encounters, adventurous play zones, and splash-filled fun, all in one kid-friendly zone.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Wild Oasis,” said Jeff Davis, Park President of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. “This vibrant, rainforest-inspired realm is filled with incredible animal habitats, immersive attractions, and hands-on play areas designed to entertain, educate, and inspire.”
One of the most exciting features is Habitat Hideaway, where visitors can get up close with animals new to the park. Capybaras, giant anteaters, squirrel monkeys, and tropical birds will now call Busch Gardens home. The exhibit is built with both ground-level and elevated viewing areas, giving families the chance to watch these animals from unique vantage points.

Got a little thrill-seeker in the family? They’ll love Tree Top Drop, a 35-foot drop tower that adds just the right amount of excitement for younger adventurers. The ride features screens showcasing jungle scenes and an immersive underground spring-themed setting. It’s set to open later in June, with height requirements of 38 inches with an adult or 42 inches to ride solo.

Beyond the animals and ride, Wild Oasis is filled with active play. The Canopy Climb is a four-level climbing structure with 200 feet of horizontal trails and vertical climbs reaching up to 45 feet. It’s a physical challenge that doubles as a rainforest adventure.
For younger visitors needing to cool down, Enchanted Falls offers an interactive splash pad with bubbling fountains and playful spray towers—perfect for beating the Florida heat. And for those who enjoy a more laid-back experience, the Rainforest Quest scavenger hunt blends fun with education, highlighting connections between rainforest species and ecosystems.

Wild Oasis is more than just another playground—it’s an engaging space that encourages curiosity about nature, provides inclusive activities for a wide range of ages, and delivers all the fun and thrills you’d expect from a day at Busch Gardens. Whether your kids love climbing, splashing, learning about animals, or trying out their first mini-thrill ride, this new addition is designed to be a hit.
