If you’re cruising with your kids this summer, MSC Cruises has a packed schedule that might make it hard to leave the ship. Beginning June 2025, the family-owned cruise line is rolling out a wave of new entertainment designed with every member of the family in mind—from toddlers to teens and their grown-ups.
The updates, according to MSC Cruises’ Family Entertainment Development Director Matteo Mancini, are all about balance: a mix of technology, creativity, and old-fashioned fun. “We know what it takes to keep the whole family happy on holiday,” Mancini said, adding that this summer’s offerings will include “more interactive game shows, more sports, more parties, and a fresh take on teen entertainment.”

All MSC Cruises offer complimentary kids’ clubs tailored by age group:
- Baby Club Chicco: 6 months to 2 years
- Mini Club LEGO®: 3 to 6 years
- Junior Club LEGO®: 7 to 11 years
- Young Club: 12 to 14 years
- Teens Club: 15 to 17 years
Parents can take advantage of free kids’ meals during club hours, making it easy to relax while little ones enjoy lunch or dinner with their peers. Each ship is also equipped with kid-friendly waterparks, family cinema areas, and game zones.
In addition, here’s what’s in store for families setting sail this summer:
New Onboard Events for Kids and Parents to Enjoy Together
LEGO® Family Game Show
First introduced on MSC World America, this show lets parents and kids team up to build timed LEGO® challenges. Think of it as part game night, part creative chaos—with the LEGO® Sailor Walkabout mascot acting as judge. Expect lots of laughs and some seriously imaginative builds.
LEGO® Family Parade
Seven official LEGO® characters take to the decks for a lively, roaming parade on select ships including MSC World Europa, Virtuosa, Seashore, Meraviglia, and others. It’s more than a spectacle—passengers are invited to join in on the fun.
DOREMIX Family Disco
If your crew likes to dance, the new DOREMIX Family Disco might be your jam—literally. Featuring an exclusive MSC soundtrack (available online), this fleet-wide party will be led by fan-favorite mascot Doremi, who moonlights as a DJ and dance judge.
MSC Originals: BOXES and MSC BOOM
These two new MSC-exclusive game shows lean into surprise and tech. In BOXES, contestants discover challenges by opening mystery boxes. MSC BOOM adds a high-tech twist, letting guests compete in fast-paced games for a shot at prizes.
Big Fun with Big Records and Gaming Action
GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® On Board
Back by popular demand, MSC is expanding its partnership with Guinness World Records across 16 ships. Both kids and adults will have the chance to attempt official record-breaking feats—whether it’s stacking, bouncing, or balancing—while a Guinness rep looks on.
PS5 F1® Sim Racing Tournaments
Gamers in the family can compete in high-speed F1® sim races in MSC’s digital arenas. These adrenaline-fueled sessions run weekly, offering bragging rights and some impressive prizes.
Revamped Experiences Just for Teens (and Their Parents)
Teens Club Gets an Upgrade
Older kids can expect a lot more than video games and beanbags in 2025. MSC’s updated Teen Clubs (ages 12–17) will include silent discos, team trivia, and exclusive themed parties like the Golden Party—each offering a safe, social way to meet others and enjoy the cruise.
New Events for Parents Too
While the kids are having a blast, parents can relax with their own Golden Party, a new addition to MSC’s growing list of themed events. And for those who love a good brain-teaser, MSC will now offer a whopping 75 different trivia quizzes per sailing, held during “Quiz O’Clock” daytime sessions—complete with drinks and a laid-back vibe.
With a strong focus on togetherness, creativity, and age-appropriate entertainment, MSC Cruises is setting the stage for a summer at sea where families can actually do things together—without anyone saying “I’m bored.”
Whether you’re racing in a virtual Grand Prix, dancing to the DOREMIX beat, or trying to snag a Guinness World Record, there’s no shortage of ways to create new family memories in 2025.
