Princess Cruises is making some welcome changes to its popular Premier and Plus packages, set to roll out July 22 for 2026 voyages. The cruise line says these updates were shaped by guest feedback, and they come with a few extra perks designed to make your trip more flexible, flavorful, and memorable.
The revamped packages bring fresh additions like more casual dining options and generous shore excursion credits. For travelers who love a good deal, Princess notes that the updated bundles can still save guests 50%–70% compared to purchasing the perks separately.

For 2026, the pre-cruise pricing for the Princess Premier Package will be $100 per person, per day (up from $90), while the Princess Plus Package will be $65 (up from $60). On the newest Sphere-class ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, the rates will be $105 for Premier and $70 for Plus.
What’s New in the Premier Package
- A shore excursion credit based on trip length: $100 for 6–9 days, $200 for 10–20 days, and up to $300 for sailings 21+ days.
- Existing perks remain, including the unlimited Premier Beverage Package, unlimited casual and specialty dining, four-device Wi-Fi, waived fees for OceanNow® and room service delivery, unlimited digital professional photos, reserved show seating, and daily crew appreciation.
What’s New in the Plus Package
- Two additional casual dining meals per voyage, now totaling four.
- Still includes the Plus Beverage Package, single-device Wi-Fi, waived fees for OceanNow® and room service delivery, and daily crew appreciation.
To make room for the new additions, some lesser-used features, like premium desserts, juice bar access, Medallion shipping, certain fitness classes, and Princess prizes, are being phased out.

“By thoughtfully evolving our packages, we’re ensuring they reflect what our guests truly desire—more flexibility, enhanced culinary experiences, and opportunities to explore ashore,” said Alfredo Jimenez, Princess Cruises Vice President of Onboard Revenue.
What are your thoughts? Are these updates the changes you want to see, or will you miss some of the perks being phased out?
