There’s something extra magical about Main Street U.S.A. after dark—and this summer, it’s about to get even better. Starting July 20, 2025, Walt Disney World is launching a brand-new nighttime parade called Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, and it’s shaping up to be one of those can’t-miss experiences.

Whether you’re a Disney regular or planning your first visit, there’s something special about gathering along the parade route with your crew, snacks in hand, waiting for the lights to dim and the music to start. And this one’s going to be big.

The story kicks off with a little help from the Blue Fairy, whose magic brings the whole parade to life—lighting up the night with swirling starlight, glowing floats, and a soundtrack that blends new music with some classic Disney favorites. From the first beat to the final float, it’s all about dreams coming true and the magic of wishing on a star.

What’s especially exciting? You’ll see tons of familiar faces, including some who haven’t appeared in Disney parades before. We’re talking about characters from Encanto, Wish, Frozen, Moana, Coco, and so many more. And yes—Mickey and Minnie are there too, rocking sparkling new outfits just for the occasion.

Some of the standout moments include:

  • Snow White and Dopey in a glowing mine cart
  • Rapunzel and Flynn on their boat with a shining lantern
  • Aladdin and Jasmine floating by on their magic carpet
  • Miguel and Pepita bringing Coco to life
  • Plus a glittering finale featuring Mickey, Minnie, and a whimsical train inspired by the Main Street Electrical Parade

In total, the parade features a long list of characters like Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Peter Pan, Elsa, Asha, Aurora, Tiana, Belle, Cinderella, and more—so whether your kids love the newer Disney stories or you’re all about the classics, there’s something for everyone.

And of course, Disney is rolling out some fun extras. Look out for themed merchandise and a limited-edition popcorn mix available only at the Main Street Confectionary starting the day the parade debuts.
