This year, the party kicks off with a Halfway to Halloween celebration, promising more thrills and chills than ever before. Here’s a rundown of the five new treats and returning favorites you can expect at this spooktacular event, happening on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort, starting Aug. 9!

  1. New Costumes for Mickey and Minnie: Prepare to be enchanted by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they don their brand-new neon spiderweb attire to greet guests at the party. Get your cameras ready for some spooky snapshots!
  2. More Villains Sightings: Keep your eyes peeled as sinister villains and ghoulish foes lurk around every corner of Magic Kingdom. Who knows, you might even snag a selfie with your favorite baddie!
  3. DescenDANCE Party: Let loose and bust a move at the DescenDANCE Party, happening at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Inspired by the upcoming Disney Original Movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” this rave is not to be missed!
  4. Meet Bruno Madrigal: Step into the enchanting world of “Encanto” as Bruno Madrigal makes his debut appearance alongside Mirabel at their Casita in Fairytale Garden. Get ready for some magical moments with this clairvoyant character.
  5. Earlier Start Time for Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade: This year, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade kicks off at an earlier time, making it perfect for families with little ones who want to enjoy the spooktacular fun before bedtime.

But the treats don’t stop there! Returning favorites include “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show, hosted by Jack Skellington, the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show, and trick-or-treating throughout the park.
