“The World’s Most Magical Celebration” celebrating Walt Disney World Resorts’ 50th year anniversary begins Oct. 1, 2021. For the past few months, Disney has been dropping hints about some of the incredible celebrations they have planned for the celebration including nighttime spectaculars, new dining options, and some very cool collectibles.
Today they announced a new crest honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort now adorns the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
The crest completes the castle’s royal, EARidescent makeover, joining gold bunting, sparkling embellishments and other new enhancements.
This event, which will run for 18-months, will feature new experiences at the resort’s four theme parks and beyond, where shimmering EARidescent décor will appear as if by magic.
“Disney Enchantment” will take guests on a journey filled with adventure, wonder, and empowerment. Inspiring everyone to believe in magic, this evening extravaganza will feature music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks, and, for the first time, immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A.
